A collaboration between Chemo Castronovo and Möbelstück Beckmann, the brilliant musician behind the remarkable solo project 'the volume settings folder,' has been in the works over the course of 2013 and is finally complete and ready for release... Chemo Castronovo and M. Beckmann's 'Times and places.' will be released on August 29. The project is a slow burn monolithic piece of cinematic ambient tones combined with an almost post-rock-esque vibe at times.

Here’s another one from decay / release 01: ‘glance back, still there’.

This is an overwhelming piece, absolute paranoia fuel with a focused dose of claustrophobia and a general sense of dread. Beautifully-crafted, and it truly inspires a wide range of emotional responses… this was the perfect closer for decay / release 01.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the record so far, and if you haven’t gotten a chance, it’s available at Monolith Manufact free of charge.

Enjoy!

Out now on Monolith Manufact: decay / release, a new project from Matt Walters.
Stunning piece of dark atmosphere the likes of which have not been explored by the label until now.

Enjoy!

Available now: Chemo Castronovo’s ‘Blood moon.’ on Monolith Manufact.

This one is a bit shorter than previous releases, and acts as the delicate and sometimes-ominous sonic equivalent of a sigh of relief, and a still moment to one’s self.

Enjoy!

Chemo Castronovo’s GANYMEDE

Highly recommended record, it’s quite dark, though not oppressively so, with wistful and reflective tones married to drones and heavy textures.

Long but worth listening to! Available for free at Monolith Manufact.

Enjoy!
